With 20 years working BC Coast and Great Bear Rainforest, Milne has extensive captain experience and angling prowess. Milne has run BC Inside Passage from Vancouver to Alaska for the past decade in producing Big Coast TV Series and Great Bear Tales. For the past decade, Milne has spent Spring and Summer angling and filming on BC Coast before heading offshore as an Albacore Tuna Captain each September. Fall is also eco-tourism time, and many efforts are focussed on bear viewing and wildlife opportunities in Great Bear. Milne has years of experience working with Coastal First Nations and Great Bear Project, which combines tourism destination development and marketing initiatives. GBP is currently overseeing projects in Hartley Bay, Klemtu and Wuikinuxv and working on initiatives with Bella Coola Valley Tourism and Shearwater Wilderness Resort. Milne works with a number of Mercury-supported fishing lodges. These include premiere outfits Duncanby Lodge, North King Lodge and Queen Charlotte Lodge. As a longtime coast angler, these relationships have been built over years, aligning with Bridgeview and Mercury initiatives. Finally, Milne is an ardent supporter of salmon conservation and a member of Percy Walkus Hatchery. In addition to working on hatchery last seven years, Milne has produced films and written magazine articles on PWH, a Bridgeview/Mercury-supported conservation effort.

Milne is signed on with Bridgeview and Mercury as Factory Pilot, Canadian Mercury Pro Team member and West Coast consultant. Working with First Nations and Mercury-supported lodges on BC Coast and Great Bear Rainforest, Milne maintains a home base on Denny Island at Bella Bella Cannery…otherwise known as Bridgeview Marine Bella! Working with Don and James McNeice, Milne aligns business and West Coast boating opportunities with Bridgeview/Mercury and functions as a Great Bear-based team member promoting brand and building relationships.
