"Strategy isn’t a plan on paper. It’s the discipline to see reality clearly, act before others do, and turn uncertainty into momentum."
Strategic planning has always been at the core of our business, sport and communications work. When I graduated National Coaching Institute at University of Victoria I specialized in quadrennial planning in high performance. From canoe/kayak to downhill mountain bike and snow sports, learning this planning process was critical. The ultimate payoff came at 2010 Olympics when, working with Own The Podium and Canadian Olympic Association, I coached gold and silver medals in Snowboardcross. The strategic planning process was forever engrained in core thinking and best practices…and this quadrennial plan was golden (Maelle Ricker, Vancouver 2010).
For over 25 years, Milne Strategy (formerly Ridelounge Productions Ltd.) has embraced planning and strategic thinking.
The concept was born in sport but now applied to business, tourism and all lines of our work. Strategic planning and consulting is found in all our efforts with Great Bear Project, Big Coast Television Series and new Bridgeview/Mercury Marine Consultant efforts. Content remains at the core of our strategy today, working in harmony with website/SEO management, digital ad strategy and decades of expertise in British Columbia mountain, marine and Indigenous relations. We’ve got the team, skills and expertise to assist your company or organization in strategic planning and execution.
Sincerely,
